Oscillatory Baffled Reactors/Crystallisers

PLUG FLOW UNDER LAMINAR FLOW CONDITIONS

Our oscillatory baffled vessels are effective for reactions, work-ups and crystallisations. They provide high intensity, low shear mixing with great temperature control due to the high jacket area to process volume ratio.

Available in sizes to suit your requirements from Laboratory to production scales.

Can be provided with temperature controlled transfer lines to avoid unwanted crystallisations or side reactions. Probe adapters available to suit most PAT

Reactors

We provide a range of fully automated reactors:

Single vessel batch or continuous stirred tank reactors and multi-vessel continuous or semi-continuous chained stirred tank reactors in various sizes.

Liquid/Liquid, Solid/Liquid and Gas/Liquid capabilities at pressures up to 25 bar and temperatures up to 200 °C

Improved residence time distribution compared to traditional stirred tanks

Crystallisers

Ideal for cooling, evaporative and antisolvent crystallisations

Low shear mixing produces little particle attrition with good control over particle size distribution and morphology

Flexible modes of operation – batch, semi- or fully continuous

TWIN OR QUAD STAGE

  • Operates as a chain of MSMPR or STR’s or as a semi-continuous crystalliser​

  • All the advantages of the smaller ranges but with energy recovery to further reduce operating costs
